Do not use the Software (= Slatetm, HyperSlatetm, and HyperGradertm) covered by this Agreement until you have read the present Agreement carefully, including the terms and conditions given herein, and have appropriately purchased an access code and used it to access the Software. Opening and/or using the Software (or authorizing another person to do so) constitutes your acceptance of the present Agreement, and your avowal that you have appropriately purchased an access code to launch the registration process. No use of the Software is permitted without the purchase of an access code provided by publisher Motalen, and following on that, the full registration process, including acceptance of the present Agreement. Each user/reader of the Software and Textbook must have their own unique purchased access code, and following on correct use of it for registration, their own assigned username with which their work is associated. If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions of the present Agreement, do not proceed to use of the Software.
A parallel situation holds for all parts of the Textbook (the LAMA-BDLA e-textbook; hereafter simply ‘LAMA-BDLA’ or ‘the Textbook’): Do not open any part of that book until you accept the Terms and Conditions set out herein. Opening any part of LAMA-BDLA constitutes your acceptance of the present Agreement.
Terms & Conditions: You are not permitted to make any copies of any parts of LAMA-BDLA. The Software and Textbook, including all parts of the latter, are both protected by trademark and copyright laws. You are not permitted to copy the Software or the Textbook. For all parts of the Textbook, you are permitted to print only one copy for your personal use; and copying of any printout of any portion of the Textbook is prohibited. You may not grant access to anyone else of the Software or Textbook, including any parts of the latter in any form, to any other person, by any means, including electronic transmission or transfer. The Software contains trade secrets, and you are not allowed to in any way and to any degree reverse-engineer or decompile the Software.
Coverage of Subsequent Emailed Copies of LAMA-BDLA. You may receive from the publisher or your instructor, during the course, and thereafter, by email or provided url for download, new versions of the LAMA-BDLA textbook and/or the HyperSlatetm and/or HyperGradertm systems, as well as notifications of subsequent versions of HyperSlatetm and/or HyperGradertm. These new versions are governed by the terms above, in exactly the same manner as the original versions are governed.
